Flamel Technologies Announces Projected Release Date of Third Quarter Results, Conference Call

yon, France, October 28, 2008 Flamel Technologies (NASDAQ:FLML) expects to
release its financial results for the third quarter on Monday, November 3rd, after the market
close. A conference call to discuss the results has been scheduled for Tuesday, November
4th, at 8:30 AM (EST). A question and answer period is expected to follow the discussion of
results.
